Dr. Tausif Malik is a dynamic Indian-American social entrepreneur, EdTech pioneer, media innovator, and tech evangelist with a global footprint across Chicago, Dallas (USA), and Pune (India). He is the Founder of RiseBack.org, the world’s first affordable EdTech platform designed to tackle student debt by offering career-oriented IT certifications and accredited Indian university degree programs.
Through his work, Dr. Malik seamlessly integrates education, technology, and entrepreneurship to promote global inclusion and economic empowerment.
His accomplishments span multiple sectors: he launched RiseBack.org to democratize access to quality higher education, and pioneered Startup Villages—rural entrepreneurship ecosystems designed to curb urban migration. In media, he established influential platforms such as The Desi Buzz, GCCStartup.News, Halal Biz News, and Startup Berita. As a champion of financial inclusion, he developed the world’s first Bitcoin Mining Training Program in collaboration with DICCI.
Dr. Malik has also played an active role in political advocacy, founding the Global Desi Republican Caucus and previously serving as Treasurer of Democrats Abroad – India. His innovative mindset even extends to the entertainment world, where he co-created India’s first digital branding venture with music legend Lucky Ali.
Rooted in Gandhian principles of self-reliance, Dr. Malik’s philosophy emphasizes sustainable development, rural empowerment, and active engagement with the global diaspora. Holding a DBA from Argosy University (USA), and an MBA and M.Com from Pune University, he continues to drive change across education, media, startups, and public policy, making a lasting impact on communities worldwide.
